However, the Editor has spent a little time updatng this website as at 31st August 2011 See OUR MEETINGS page for a list of our meetings for the rest of 2011 and for 2012 [only two meetings to fill in 2012 - will you help, please?] Please appreciate that this website was formed mid-June 2008 and has taken much longer than expected to get all the information etc. that the Society wanted to put on it. For quite a long time the Society has been waitng patiently for further professional help to come our way but unforseen circumstances have caused some delays for which the committee are extremely sorry. So we would ask you to please be patient for the time being. if nayone in teh sceuity owudl be willnig to take on the task of keepign this website updated, then pelase have a woerd with Ken Mumford who has been trying hard to update this site. Please explore what we have done during the past few months. OUR AIM:- Enthusing people in Abergavenny and beyond with steam. Beyond means to our cunning secretary - anywhere. The section in the society's title 'and Distirct' is taken in its widest context; indeed we even have a member who lives in Downpatrick in Northern Ireland, Hartlepool, as well as in Portsmouth, Norfolk, Outer London as well as Swindon.
